Edit Configuration

In the \TM40-PXY directory edit the web.config file using the notepad editor

  1. Change the line:

    <action type="Rewrite" value="http{R:1}://www.teammentor.net/{R:2}" />

    Replacing www.teammentor.net with the URL of your site. For example beta.teammentor.net

  2. Change the lines for custom errors.

    Replacing www.teammentor.net with the URL for your site. Make sure to leave the last /error as is and only change the first part of the URL. For example replace with beta.teammentor.net .

    This is with the exception of the line.

    <error statusCode="403" subStatusCode="4" path="https://www.teammentor.net" responseMode="Redirect" />

    This should have no /error at the end.

  3. Change the default error to the correct URL.

    <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="https://www.teammentor.net/error" />

  4. Replace 1337 in the file with the port value you entered intm_design in TM40 configuration

Configure IIS Site.

  • Open IIS and choose to “Add Site”
  • Give the site a name. Point the physical path to the TM40-PXY directory.
  • Enter the hostname of your TM40 site. This will be the URL most users will be accessing at all times.

Edit bindings and add the SSL version of the site.

Force SSL

  • In the Proxy site you’ve just configured open SSL Settings
  • Click on “Require SSL”

Enable URL Rewrite

  • In the server node configuration, select Application Request Routing
  • Select “Server Proxy Settings” On the right hand side
  • Click “Enable Proxy”

Disable Unnecessary AAR Header

  • Open command prompt as "Administrator"
  • Run the following command
%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd set config  -section:system.webServer/proxy /arrResponseHeader:"False"  /commit:apphost
